Happy 50th Anniversary Biocore! Thanks to my chemistry advisor I ended up in the Biocore program – great experiences, but so many pre-med students (lol). I happily graduated with a triple major (Chemistry, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology) and am the lab manager of the environmental engineering department on the UW campus (after previous jobs in research, an environmental testing lab and sales & marketing!). It has been fun reading about what the current Biocore program offers to its students – hope they realize what a great decision they have made and what it means to soon call themselves UW Biocore Alumni.
