After School Science Club (ASSC)
BOA volunteers partner with the Wisconsin Heights School District to run an after-school science club for 3rd – 5th graders interested in doing science. Ambassadors that attend After School Science Club (ASSC) must complete background checks to participate.
American Family Children's Hospital (AFCH) Visits
BOA volunteers visit children at the American Family Children’s Hospital (AFCH) and engage them in authentic science activities.

The UW-Madison Science Expeditions is a three-day event in Spring that includes exploration stations, tours of science venues across campus, and the chance to talk to researchers on campus. BOA volunteers run exploration stations to engage young scientists.
Saturday Science at the WID

Light the Night
The UW-Madison chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) hosts Light the Nights as a fundraiser. BOA volunteers have the opportunity to fundraise for LLS.
Wisconsin Heights Summer Science Camp
Wisconsin Heights Summer Science Camp is a unique collaboration between the Wisconsin Heights School District and Biocore Outreach Ambassadors. It is a week-long summer school course for 4th-12th graders where campers investigate their own questions by designing and doing their own experiments in topics such as: stream ecology, human physiology, genetics and development, physics, and much more!
