Interests:
In my role as Associate Director of Biocore, I work with undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, staff, and alumni. In my role I oversee the daily administration of the program, teach and chair/co-chair in various courses across the curriculum, advise and mentor students, train graduate teaching assistants, and have the privilege of focusing on the biology education of Biocore students.
I am a physiologist by training. Over the course of my time in the research world, I focused on both cellular neurophysiology and developmental biology/tissue regeneration of the intestinal tract. In my free time I love to cook, read speculative fiction, spend time with my family and pets, and play video and board games to relax.
